Obviously there are many ways to get links from social media sites but today we will talk about profile links.

There are several social networking sites that allow users to add links to their profile,some of them even allow anchored links in Bio field.PageRank of these new created profile pages is 0 but let me explain the benefits of having a link pointing back to your website from a social media website profile.

Most important thing is that some of these social sites have a high pagerank and authority in Google’s eyes.Second thing is that your profile page can gain PR if you are active in these communities.A good example is Propeller,check Propeller’s top users and you will see that some profile pages are even pagerank 6.Pretty cool ha ?
