Yes,it’s official. On his own blog,Matt Cutts announced that in Google had incorporated site speed in search rankings. This is not a very important change in rankings, but this is good to know for SEOs.Don’t worry that the effect of this change will be huge,in fact fewer than 1% of search queries will change as a result of incorporating site speed into Google’s rankings.
There are lots of tools to help you identify ways to improve the speed of your site, tools like :
Matt Cutts draws our attention ofer three important ideas :
- “This is actually a relatively small-impact change, so you don’t need to panic.”
- “Speeding up your website is a great thing to do in general. Visitors to your site will be happier (and might convert more or use your site more), and a faster web will be better for all.”
- ” This change highlights that there are very constructive things that can directly improve your website’s user experience. Instead of wasting time on keyword meta tags, you can focus on some very easy, straightforward, small steps that can really improve how users perceive your site.”
I’ve previously posted an article with some Tips to Reduce loading time of WebSite , where the most important facts in reducing loading time of website were the graphics and the most importat three facts in reducing loading time are : Avoiding large graphics, avoinding flash and animated GIF’s and optimizing HTML files.
There are many way to reduce loading time of your website beside those :

Sometimes you should start branding your site before using social media. There are some really interesting reasons to firstly start your branding campaign instead starting a social media campaign :
- The biggest social media brands are often celebrities – Look at a list with Twitter’s top users , almost all of them are already celebrities in real life or public figures.Almost all had found success in other public platforms before joining Twitter, and a few had found immense success in business and marketing long before they took up the platform. If you want to be successful on Twitter or any other social media network , you should try to became an important figure in real life.
- Build your succes before you seek for publicity -People are listen to successful. Persons like Oprah or Bill Gates are popular on Twitter for one reason : they were worth listening to before they entered the social space, and had the success to back it up.
- Long-term efforts don’t always result in exposure – Spending time on social media won’t always result in exposure. Unfortunately, it often results in little more than wasted energy and misguided effort. You should focus your efforts on platforms that are valuable and which are often found outside of short-term social platforms, and you will end up with exposure as a long-term effect.
- Social network can insulate you from succes -The best marketers have all failed at least once in their career. Whether in business or in their personal life, in marketing efforts or in financial management, the most successful social media marketers have experienced failure and used it as a learning experience.
