It is very very expensive to run a website and have it actaully produce money. Running a business from home and also having it on the net is very expensive. SEO costs major money and to have a good website you must have it seo’d.
I think that’s good idea to make long term relationship with customer by staying in contact with them by email. But do not send ads (aff) link every day to their email, Try to use regularly email perweek or permonth promotion.

If everyone looks for popular keywords the competition becomes intense and only those who put lot of effort get stabilized in higher ranks. Wow.. I have been wondering about affiliate ads but so far concentrated only on writing articles. A nice summary on starting internet business. In this recession, although businesses got affected, internet usage on some topics had gone up significantly.
It is not so easy to start home business if we have no proper strategy. We have to handle everything like writing content, SEO, Social media etc ourself when we start home business.

I myself can say that making money online is not easy, but it can be done. I currently own 5blogs that generate 800 to 900 dollars a months. This didn’t happen overnight, and this is only the begining. I also have a full time job that I hate, but I know free will come in time. In my experience paying for seo is not the answer. Good content and new content is the key. You also must make sure to spend some time on link building, slowly but surley. That’s how Google likes it.
