I like SEO and i use a lot of free seo tools.I decided that is very interesting to write a post about this and to ask my readers what seo tools are they using.So, what FREE seo tools are you using ? I’m using :
1.Backlink and Anchor Text Tool
This tool is verify your backlinks (it shows just one backlink/URL) and it shows the Anchor Text used for that backlink.
It shows the age of a domain name.
Using this you can verify the Page Rank of any site .
You can use this tool to get some new keywords ideas.Try it! I use this tool almost everyday.
Using this tool you can receive tip about how you can improve your Meta Tags and a lot more tips.
The use of meta tags in web pages are often required by search engines as a source of information to help them to decide how to list and rank your website.
This tool is extracting the informations from the Meta Tags ,this tool make the work of webmasters easyer.
This tool predicts your future page rank (it’s not very exactly).
This tool it’s verify the density of keywords on your web page.You can see how many times you’ve used a keyword.
The Google Dance Tool is provided as a tool to help you, the webmaster, determine when the Google search engine is spidering the internet.

Niceblogger, I would like to add one more tool. Internet archive tool. This website shows you how a website has looked at the past. This will help you in buying a expired domain. This can also help you to look how a website was in the past.

I forgot one more site. Mike’s marketing has a pretty decent set of free tools. I like using a bunch of different ones just to compare results.

Nice list, but you forgot Google webmaster tools,. We can certainly call Google webmaster tools a SEO tool as google is the SE and the tool helps you to Optimize your site

right, well I’d be inclined to say the page rank checker is a waste of time, because PR is useless as any information we see is always old. It’s only a rough guess, SEO quake the firefox plugin covers most of the bases for your SEO information needs well that’s what I tend to use if I cant be bothered checking properly.

So glad you included meta tag tools! So many people discount meta info on their sites because the almighty Google has reportedly not counted. People seem to forget the approximately 35% of searches come from OTHER search engines, that is quite a LARGE number to pass up on just to concentrate only on Google.

Cool tool for a worthless SEO
I’m thinking that you might focus on meta tags a bit too much. Once those meta tags were important, today not so much. Google will not use the keyword tag at all. Think like this: The title tag is one of the most important aspects. The description not so much for SEO, but can be used in SERPs as a description, so make them readable by users.

Its cool list, I can suggest Google webmater tools is the best tools for analysing all our websites activites, other than that i go with http://www.backlinkwatch.com/, Its a nice tool for backlink checking and verifying anchor text . Please update this list regularly, some of the sites are outdated. I got some interesting tools from our commentators, Thanks to them.
